Our team of practitioners and professionals range in age and experience which is what makes us work so well together. Majority of our colleagues hold either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or degree qualified in Early Years, as well as a few who are currently studying their foundation degree in Early Childhood studies. All members of staff have great knowledge of child development and this is reflected in our Ofsted Outstanding rating three times in a row.
From the moment a child starts in our setting, till the day they leave they are continuously provided with engaging, stimulating, and exciting activities to help with their development. The setting ensures that activities and learning moments are based around the children’s interests, to ensure they are interested and constantly learning. Additionally, the children grow and develop amazing bonds with the practitioners, and it is evident when the children are happy and excited to come to nursery.
We love outdoor play and have the most amazing garden – designed specifically to provide all age groups with a range of stimulating learning opportunities. Our floodlit outdoor classroom and dining area means children can learn, play and eat in all weathers.
Where you will find us
We are based by the Lower Beeding village hall, which is an 10 minute drive from Horsham main line railway station. There are bus stops available, which are located next to Leonardslee Gardens. Our nursery has a large car park, which means that drop off and collection is safe and easy, and is also opposite a big playing field and swings which are often used by parents and children after pick up.
We are in a purpose-built nursery which has 3 large rooms for different age groups. The rooms are made to feel homely and comfortable for the children to explore. The layout in each room is carefully designed by the team and influenced by the children’s interests.
The Baby Snug
A calm room where babies can relax and sleep, with plenty space to crawl and explore, new sights and sounds to awaken the senses. Our babies have access to the great outdoors and their own secure garden. Our Baby Snug is the perfect place for our youngest children to begin their nursery journey.
The Toddler Den
Just down the hall from their older Studious cousins, our toddler den has space for exploration, play and new experiences. Creative play, colourful and textured resources, singing, stories and nursery rhymes are how we learn. and outdoor play every day in our amazing garden.
The Pre-School Study
Preparing for school and those next big steps in education is a big deal so in our study we focus on activities that promote reading, writing, maths and science, whilst ensure children are learning as they play. All activities are carefully planned so we cover all areas of learning. Children in the study enjoy free flow access to our huge garden and play areas.
Great nursery, thriving, caring environment and they go out of their way to keep little minds happy and occupied.
