Our team of practitioners and professionals have a range experience which is what makes us work so well together. The majority of our colleagues hold either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or a bachelors degree in Early Years, as well as a few who are currently studying their foundation degree in Early Childhood studies. All members of staff have great knowledge of child development and this is reflected in our Ofsted Outstanding rating three times in a row.
From the moment a child starts in our setting, until the day they leave they are continuously provided with engaging, stimulating, and exciting activities to encourage their development. The setting ensures that activities and learning moments are based around the children’s interests, to ensure they are interested and constantly learning. Additionally, the children grow and develop amazing bonds with the practitioners, and it is evident when the children are happy and excited to come to nursery.
We love outdoor play and have an amazing garden – designed specifically to provide all age groups with a range of stimulating learning opportunities. Our floodlit outdoor classroom and dining area means children can learn, play and eat in all weathers.
Where you will find us
We are based by the Lower Beeding village hall, which is a 10 minute drive from the Horsham main line railway station. There is also a bus stop located next to Leonardslee Gardens. Our nursery has a large car park, allowing for safe and easy pick-up and drop-off, which is also opposite a big playing field and swings that is often used by parents and children after pick up.
We are in a purpose-built nursery which has 3 large rooms for different age groups. The rooms are made to feel homely and comfortable for the children to explore. The layout in each room is carefully designed by the team and influenced by the children’s interests.
The Baby Snug
A room where babies can relax, sleep, crawl, and explore new sights and sounds to awaken the senses. Our Baby Snug is the perfect place for our youngest children to begin their nursery journey.
The Toddler Den
Located next door to their younger Baby cousins, our toddler den has space for exploration, play and new experiences. Creative play, colourful and textured resources, singing, stories, outdoor play, and nursery rhymes are how we learn every day
The Pre-School Study
Preparing for school and those next big steps in education is a big deal, so in our study we focus on activities that promote reading, writing, maths and science – ensuring children are learning as they play. All activities are carefully planned to cover all areas of learning.
Great nursery, thriving, caring environment and they go out of their way to keep little minds happy and occupied.
